just as a matter of interest , if Jo is such a bad player ...... why spend £19m on him ? was it bad judgement or just because MH never signed him he was not prepared to persevere with him ?

We haven't spent £19m on him, £4m up front the rest are clauses. The only reason we publicised £19million is because there were strong rumours of us being in the shit financially and Thaskin wanted a bit of good PR. 'Look we can still pay a club record fee'

same sort of deal Everton did for Screech , ..... most deals are conducted in this manner nowadays , ...... cashflow

Yeah, it's just with Fellaini he seems likely to fulfill those clauses, don't think Jo will be around here much longer. Hopefully he's still got a decent reputation somewhere and someone will pay a bit of money for him so we don't end up losing that much. Doesn't matter too much now of course, but it's still nice not to look like mugs. I don't anyone's 100% sure who actually decided to signed him, a mixture of Sven, Thaskin, Kia Joorsomething and Hughes i think.

So im fairly happy with our team, and our transfers, even though we dont have all the money in the world. Compliments to the manager really, getting class players for little money. You have fun watching Bellamy every saturday though.

Oh and city fans sorry, but i highly doubt any of our players would go to you, Everton isnt a selling club, and our players have abit more class than that

Thank you for this wonderful piece of writing.In equal measures it made me smile,frown,shout and cry(i get a bit emotional around forums).

To be honest i wouldn't be happy with "my team" if that team consisted of Saha upfront.I like the look of the Begium lad with the mad hair,only young so plenty of time to go bald.Lescott is one hell of an ugly fucker but quite a good player and Tim Cahill can head a ball.

Oh,almost forgot Mr Baines who i think is a very good player.
