lescott - part of the Jo agreement

Yeah I think we have pretty much no chance of getting Lescott, it's a shame as I really rate the lad and he could be ideal for left centre back.

I can still see Veloso, Given and RSC arriving tomorrow though.

P.S sometimes browse an Everton forum called BlueKipper and they genuinely seem to hate our guts, I really don't mind Everton as a club either.

Is it on any forums? Can you stick a link up if so?

I hope we don't give them an option to buy. It leaves us short on strikers for the Uefa though.

Don't think its an option

Hate to rain on your parade guys but the rumour is rubbish. EFC are in talks with City over Jo but Lescott is not part of any deal. That is direct from the press officer at EFC, Ian Ross. Don't believe me then you can e-mail the club yourself. I know it is very exciting having all the money in the world to throw around but it should be obvious to you all that a club with only 3 centre halves in the first team squad is not about to sell one of them with only a day or so to go in the transfer window when they are in strong position to push on and qualify for Europe (you can only dream, money isn't everything!). I'm not saying you may not get him in the summer if you throw more cash about (and make no mistake, £12m won't get it done as Lescott is a FAR better player than Wayne Bridge!), but you can forget about anything happening now.
Thanks for the info but not for the attitude.

only thing is mate money in football is everything, we may be struggling to sign the best players now but with unlimited funds over a prolonged period we will get where we want to be. We may pay over the odds but hey its not my money!

Cheers... sly digs apart.

As an Everton id be happy to see any striker join us at the minute Jo certinally has the ability but looks as if he couldnt give a toss at present.

Im 99.9% certain that Lescott will be in the Everton team on Wednesday unless a crazy offer from your lot comes in ( im talking £20m)

Oh by the way i like Citeh and think a lot of Blues feel the same.

Good Luck.

(YAWN) So how are you doing in the UEFA cup this year?
I huess we will be dreaming when we are playing against Copenhagen.
Boring post, and sad that you come on here like you have the inside track.

I remain unmoved. Its pure stupidity to loan any player to a side in the prem that is competeting with us. Send him abroad.
