Jo does NOT , I repeat does NOT play against us if true - put that in the fookin deal City
Why ever not? I would rather Jo played against us than Cahill or whoever.
Ha ha, good point.

We have no control over it anyway.

If it's a loan, the league's rules prevent him from playing against us. And if it's a permanent transfer, no deals can be made about when he plays and when he doesn't (i.e. third-party involvement).

I agree that Moyes has been fantastic for Everton, he has brought consistency, bought well, bought conservitivly..(possibly more to do with quality chairman imposing realistic fiscal constraints) but as for the old "how good would he be if he had half of Rafa's budget" argument......We (City) are seeing that right now...Can a manager who has reasonable success by buying well, creating a team of grafters in his own image, being the cock of the club, answering to nobody like Moyes, like Hughes at Blackburn, like Fat Sam did, like Phil Brown is doing (for now) and whisper it quietly, like (Arsen Wenger as done over the years) Can they convert that when the stakes, the money, the sise of the team, the expectation, the ego's, the pressure generally gets cranked up? It would be easy for Mark Hughes for instance to say all I have to do is build a team like i did at Blackburn, but add to it some real quality, but adding that quality ruins the moral, ruins the work ethic, ruins the pay structure, ruins the manager is the best footballing brain at the club mind set.

So would David moyes do better than Rafa if he hard half the budget? Well, when your are used to buying you kecks in ASDA, you don't always know where to go in Selfridges....

I believe Moyes is a fitness fanatic and instills that onto his players, Hughes is similar and has found out the fancy Dans don't like it up em!!! Stephen Ireland has obviously benefited from a good fitness regime...Elano hates it....

So yes he maybe a good manager but possibly at his Level..We are about to find out whether Hughes can hack it at this level, he will have HIS team by the end of today..It could go one way or the other in two months time!!!!

Im a bit puzzled as to why we Let Jo go to Everton and improve a teams squad who we are trying to catch in the League? Is somebody coming the other way.

This club have a knack of cocking things up-shurely we cant let him go there.

There are a very strong series of rumours in Scouseland the last hour City may have agreed a big money deal for Lescott, by was of City greasing the wheels with Jo.

Here's hoping!!
that would please me no end

Has Jo played in the F.A. Cup? Wonder if everton want to play him in their cup replay.

Looked on the official site and they just state he's played in 8 Cup games without specifying if EUFA, FA or League Cups.
