lescott - part of the Jo agreement

Has Jo played in the F.A. Cup? Wonder if everton want to play him in their cup replay.

Looked on the official site and they just state he's played in 8 Cup games without specifying if EUFA, FA or League Cups.

Yeah he come on against Forest.

These loan deals wind me up, and always did even before we came into the money.

Twitchy built teams on players who didn't actually belong to the club! Now Everton are at it. What sort of club are they, they drone on about being a top team, with great support, yet can't afford to buy any players?

It's a joke Jo could go there and help them qualify for UEFA Cup, its a joke teams at the bottom can bring in players to help them stay up. If you really want a player - put your hands in your pockets. Don't rely on handouts, joke clubs.

It should be against the rules to loan players between clubs in the same division. It is just wrong.

I agree totally , however this is in the hands of the " loanee " , eg. MH must think that lending Jo to Everton will benefit City but knowing David Moyes and how thorough he is in investigating incoming players abilities and backgrounds , Jo was a target during the summer so he will know all about him , He will see this as a coup for Everton , he gets to assess his value and when uncle Bill Kenwright gives him his pocket money this summer , he will be in a position to negotiate a fee .

Glad to see this thread has changed its tune and gone sensible.

This 'loan' agreement is a double edged sword. Jo puts them away for Everton and comes back to City the striker we expected, but helps Everton accumulate enough points to finish above us (again lol) or he is shite and and goes the way of Barry Conlon going on a free to0 Accrington Stanley.

Haha what a Clown.

Care to elaborate or just throw insults without any valid return arguement?

The rumour flying around all the papers is that we have an option to buy for 11m at the end of the season, trust me unless we find that there is oil under goodison park, that will not be happening even if he performs well for us (everton).

Manuel Fernandez was fantastic for us last season we had the chance of a 7m move and we said no. Simply because money is so tight at Everton.

PS Fernandez is at Valencia playing every week and when i watch him he just oozes class. Portugal captain in years to come. My opinion only.

every time i saw everton on the box or when they played city.fernandes looked a great player.7m would of been cheap for a player like that.but like you say money is tight.we'll probably try n buy him for 27m
