Lescott to Newcastle United(?)

Lescott would be an awesome signing for any team in the league. I reckon he'd strengthen the Rags, and walk straight into their defensive line up. I don't want to see the bloke go, but he needs 1st team football, and that will probably make his mind up for him. I reckon he's been awesome for the time we've had him, and wish him luck whatever he decides.

Been a great servant for the club over the past few years but 10 million would be a decent fee for him. Mancini just doesn't seem to rate him.

Mancini tends to drop him in the big games even when he is in a good form.

I remember dropping him Bayern away, Arsenal, Madrid away, United home this season.

As much as we paid for him I think he's been worth every penny.
I know nastys settled in very quickly and looked great at times particularly for his age but I still think Lescott is the better player.
Obviously there could have been things going on behind the scenes we don't know about but on the face of it he seems to be getting some shabby treatmenrt considering his contribution last season.

For fucks sake, will all the doubters please watch todays OS with Bobby claiming on at least two occasions,no fucker will be leaving in January.
The only way people will be allowed to leave if a subsequent player comes in to fill that void and this IMO,but not the first paragraph.
In any type of business you can get more for an asset if you repeatedly say you don't want to sell it ie we have the upper hand when negotiations begin. That goes for Joleon or any other of our players deemed surplus to requirements, as we have been bitten in the past when clubs have had us over a barrel.
On a side note I hope he stays to fight for his place because to me he is still one of the best Centre Backs in the Prem.
