Lescott to Newcastle United(?)

Any team that has a defensive problem - link him to Lescott.

He's not going anywhere mid-season

Really don't understand why we would want to sell Jolean to be honest but if he goes I really can't see it in Jan especially with Kolo being away

i don't want too but if someone offer us a good offer(8-10m) i don't think the club will refuse..he will be 30 and have a big pay so that make sense

Jamie Redknapp said last night on sky that his beloved Pa tried to get him on loan but Lescott isn't interested in leaving City because he thinks he could get another few medals.

Would like to see him fight for his place now, think he's a great player.

Because he's on close to 100k a week and Nastasic can replace him. We have Rekik as cover an Kolo is back soon after ACON as is Richards from injury who can cover CB.

We can get a lot more for Lescott now than we could in the summer. Newcastle are desperate and it'd be a good move for all concerned. I personally would keep him till summer but business wise its best now, not paying his wages till summer would save 2m and selling for say 8m would bring us in 10m for the summer.

-- Mon Jan 14, 2013 2:12 pm --

Everton, Newcastle and Villa are the only clubs I'd see him moving to. The latter can't afford to buy him so its one of Blue Rippers or the Humbugs.

Until Kompany red card sorted & possibly Kolo back from African Nations I don't see Lescott going. We would be too light at centre half.

Personally I want him to stay.

I do after yesterday, unless we get Collocini?
