Lessons to be learned from Saturday (Wembley Way)

I'm sorry, but if some of you lot genuinely cared about safety you wouldn't be trying to make this into a naive argument about what scumbags United fans are. The worst trouble I saw on Wembley Way came from a bunch of Cockney CITY FANS refusing to move away from the stadium, screaming "come on you Munich c*nts" and squaring up to people on the other side of the divide.

All in all, it looked as though the police had a good handle on things and the vast vast majority of people know how to not act like complete dickheads. Let's not pretend that twattishness is restricted to people who happen to follow United though.

Something needs sorting cause of the shear numbers of c**ts they turn out for these games. Totally outnumbered we had to run the gauntlet to and from Euston and then to top it all we bumped into T.O. and his merrymen at the Euston Thistle at 3 in the morning.

funny how no-one else out a crowd of 32000 blues saw that

Fuck them, if those Stoke jokers want to start on families and kids they will get slapped like ginger stepchildren. As for the scum they will only start where there are easy targets, stand tall in a big group they will not even risk it. Half of them could not finish a packet of Quavers, the shitbags.

You're exagerating. Some Utd fans were very aggressive, but there was little or no trouble because most ignored them

You are exactly the type of blind fool I was refering to.
Have you not read the post's on this board ????
These are the true fact's not the crap put out by the MET.
I didnt see the scenes on Wembley Way as I was in a pub on the west side.
However I have several friends who had to run through the mob of hate
who were kicked at spat at had bottles can's thrown at them
No protection was provided whatsoever by the Police.
These were people with children, people with their elderly parents.
If you think I am exagerating in anyway you are either a Rag or a complete
idiot.

One of my customers who is at least 60, about 6 stone wet through and shirt wearing granny suffered lots of verbal abuse on her way to, and coming out of the stadium.
A mate on a coach full of Blues told me about some plastic scum threatening a 15 year old kid in a service station on the way down. Soon fucked off when the boys got off though.

i understand your idea of marching down wembley way in numbers but when you've got your lad with you, you simply take the safe option. stay away from the twats as much as possible.
sorry kev tried that with my youngest and still came close to sticky situation, i avoided wembley way and walked down towards the texaco garage before i reached there, their was packs of them coming up the side streets looking for city fans, we were approached and called manc basterds i had to tell my son no eye contact with them just head down and carry on, our coach was down a side street on the same side as wembley way in one of the lock up areas but the only way to get there was to either walk down wembley way or walk around the main road, i choose the main road, we were lucky, the police were not interested one bit, just standing there in groups of ten for their own safety, one of our lads got set upon on wembley way for trying to help a young girl who was getting threatened, he came back to the coach in a mess? they are for me the scummiest set of cowards ever to pretend to follow a shithouse club, the thing is down there, their is more of them than ever?

Well said the OP. I don't trust the police, GMP or Met, to protect City fans. The tension at derbies will be ratcheted up and up until they sort themselves out.

mate get a grip they was not cockney city
fans but red twats. walking down ww after game utd fans were on both sides
pretending to be blues. a lot of familys came out 1st kids singing city songs
not munich chants and getting spat at or kicked dads getting punched in the back of the head . these cockney reds were in there mid 40`s to early 50`s
and just wanted to fight. the trouble on ww and the tube stations would have happened even if utd would have won.

Reading the posts one would assume that the only trouble makers were the red fans. I wandered all around the stadium both before and after the match on my own and the only trouble I saw were three City fans fighting amongst themselves!!

Don't get me wrong I am not saying there wasn't trouble because, even though the police say there wasn't a lot obviously they want to play it down but when our own fans start fighting among themselves on an afternoon when we should be on a high it does make you wonder!

As for trouble with the Stoke fans, please don't start anticipating something that might never happen. If you go out looking for trouble you will invariably find it!!

Not that I am saying that any of you are but the tone of some of the posts does make you wonder.

At the end of the day we are all going out to watch a football match not a boxing match.
