Who would be the person(s) responsible for that lack of equipment and beds?

Well there’s a question, and the answer is a mixed bag from the government with not enough beds in Social care, to families who can not possibly take their parent home (who’s house they live in) because they have a short break booked or are having a new bathroom, to those patients who have come into hospital from care homes with a clearly documented Respect form stating they do not wish to be readmitted and are quite clearly at the End of life a f not eating or drinking and just need TLC in their own home.

have their parents only become negligent, drug or alcohol addicts since Covid?

Seems to me the shout out to feed them has only happened since Covid, so where the hell was the public outcry before then?

Agreed... but at best the system can only seem to provide them with free school meals during term time. Its a disgrace that those children identified as being vulnerable and needing assistance are abandoned during school holidays.
