My 6 year old was in the family stand with me and he was doing the throw in,he looked like he was raving!also I was contacted tuesday saying he,d won the competition to be player escort in the league match against liverpool.I,ve kept it quiet but I will give him the letter from City in a gold envelope on Xmas morning with his other presents. It has been difficult keeping it from him and discussing how brilliant it must be to accompany the players and take pot shots at Joe Hart in the pre-match warm up as we watched the kids who were last night,s winners doing it before stoke game. Can,t wait to see his face.

Nice one mate, how do you get your name down for that, my 5 year old (and the 3 year old) would love it? Hope he has a great time[/q

Have alook in the programme it gives details how to apply.

Not wanting to labour a different point, but if the Stoke fans had been on level 3, that would have been one boring second half.

Stoke's 'loudest and most passionate fans in the world ever' were poor but I don't blame them, their team turned up with the sole ambition of keeping the score down.

thanks

when the game was on its death bed in the 2nd half our lot in the singing sections all started singing "let's all do the throw in" and in a similar way to the Poznan they all started doing imaginary throw-ins, hundreds of fans just doing imaginary throw-ins.

Along with the other songs you've read in the thread, was a fun night.

Just found this thread and have to say respect to all the lads in 109 110 etc..

THE THROW IN LOOKED FUCKING HILARIOUS FROM SOUTH LEVEL 2!!!

The banter was fucking awesome the other night.
