Let's fill the Academy for the Youth Cup final.

Will be there for this. Chelsea are a decent side so we will need to be on our game for this one.

Looking forward to seeing Angelino and Barker linking up again on the left, though I hear Thierry Ambrose is injured which would be a big loss. Kean Bryan went off last night so am hoping he too is fit and ready to play.

A full house in the Minihad should create a really good atmosphere so heres hoping it inspires the young Blues.

Newcastle made it free for all and got cracking support for it (with presumably good promotion), Spurs v Chelsea in the semi's got a combined total of less than 6,000 over the 2 legs. Us and Leicester got less than 5,000 combined. Without more promotion from the club I can see us not filling it sadly, the lads deserve better. What the thinking is I have no idea.

Agreed. Getting information and promotion from the club is , and has been all season, very poor. I don't think we can win it during the first leg so the second leg on the 27th at Chelsea is even more important. Tickets and travelling support will be much needed and still nothing from the club. Very poor!

this was the game against Liverpool where about 10000 scousers turned up, was a good atmosphere, they were playing the rags the following day if memory serves me right, which is why they decided to make a weekend of it.

It wasn't. It was Chelsea in the exact same competition, in the second leg of the final.

Attendance was 9,150 for the Liverpool game in 2006.

Gutted I can't make this, should be a decent game between two very good sides.

Would be great if we could win the trophy, still a pretty prestigious tournament.
