Decent crowd again last night - 10,000 more than Everton v Norwich and just 1400 less than the Red Dippers.

The rags as usual are waiting to see where to pitch it.

Greater Manchester Police should publish their attendance every week like they did in that article the other year listing about eight attendances where they had about 25000 empty seats but the club lied and said the attendance was 65000!

Daily Fail have published it at 70k exactly for the match at the swamp.

United are the only club to not release their attendance figures from last night's games. Every report apart from United's has the attendance quoted but nothing on BBC, Mail, Telegraph and to confirm my suspicions, the United website.

according to the mail it was 70,000 but i think they are just guessing

40.5k doesnt seem bad to me given the nature of the game and midweek etc.

i saw a bit of the Utd game, couldnt see much of the stands but id say they had about 60k or more
