It's a dilemma, isn't it. Players, including Jack and Erling, have said how much they look forward to hearing the jingle before matches and they dream of it, so you wouldn't want to spoil it for them.... but
It's difficult to forget the banning fans from stadiums after travel has been sorted then allowing locals, the fine for late kick off when applying a paltry fine for racism in the same game, the trumped up charges and lets not forget the numerous appalling referring decisions (my particular highlight is the 2 nailed on penalties in the first ten minutes at the Alliance on Mica and David, in one of our first CL games).
Lets be clear, I believe it's a childish and futile gesture but it is the only way to show our contempt. I know we aren't going to get an apology like some clubs do, but it will continue to stain the slick, commercial event they want to project.
I hope it's a topic for discussion when they discuss sponsorship with a new multi national company, but it's probably not.
Sadly, I can't go, but rest assured I will be childish and futile on my sofa, eating my lamb kebab and wearing my Fez, just before kick off.
