Nah. I'd rather use this as another game for the players to familiarize themselves to the game plan and movement.
Me too.

Exactly. I certainly wouldn't be throwing in 5 or 6 youth players just for the sake of it, but there's scope to bring in a few of the fringe players who we may have to rely on once injuries/suspensions start kicking in. But it needs to be realistic in order to serve a purpose, so only 2 or 3 changes at most. The fringe players also need to practice within Pep's system. We will pick up injuries and players like Delph, Fernando will need to play. This match is the perfect opportunity for them to work within the new system.
Not sure I'd class it as a stroll, to be honest. An OG winner in the last few minutes, we made harder work of that than we should have.We have a rather difficult match against Stoke on Saturday. Not like last night & the stroll with Sunderland, this lot are not going to roll over. Lets wait & see what happens from a playing perspective & perish the thought, there might even be injuries.
.........GK........
..Otamendi..Kolarov.
Zaba..Garcia..Delph
..Silva......YaYa....
Navas...........Sterling
......Iheanacho........
Only if YaYa is in the plans. If not Delph there and Bring either Stones or Clichy in.
Fernando for Silva on the hour.
Perhaps a couple of European debuts. But let the fringe players learn the system.
This is a great game to rest some key players, whilst providing fitness to others.
Caballero
Zaba Tosin Otamendi Angelino
Delph Fernando A. Garcia
Navas Iheanacho Sane
This is the one.
Aleix Garcia can't play, he's not registered and hasn't been at the club long enough to be u21 qualified.
