Let's show them how it's done !

I genuinely thought the atmosphere was amazing against PSG. It was loud, passionate and most importantly, spontaneous. I've been to AJAX, PSG, Bayern, Barca, Real, Gladbach, Milan etc, I've seen big atmospheres, I'm not having it that we weren't good the other week.

If only it wasn't a set of bitter rags evaluating it!

The semi final is going to be the next level.
It was nowhere near amazing at home to Paris last week. It was reasonable, nothing more. We made more noise in the game against Chelsea earlier this season but even that was only half decent. We're capable of a million times better than those atmospheres.

We've had some amazing atmospheres at the Etihad and Paris last week wasn't in the top dozen. I think we've over-inflated it just because a few morons on the tele said it was shite (it was nowhere near shite!)

We've had atmospheres in the past where every touch was met with chaotic cries and cheers and geers, never mind any singing. We've had it where everyone was on their feet on Level 1. Sporting in the Europa Lg a few years ago, for example, was better than last week - that atmosphere was mad second half, that was the last time I remember the whole of L1 all being stood up. It wasn't at that level last week.

The OP was a good one. We need to give the team every chance, make the atmosphere everything that Liverpool and Stoke City (Same level) achieve. If we can give the team a lift, with a good display there is no reason why we can't overcome Real Madrid, and if the pundits still show a reluctance to acknowledge the club, it shows how much they deserve the sack. A friend of mine is a Man Ure fan and hE said if we win the UCL he will give me his BMW. I might well take him upon it. That is how arrogant they are. I Wouldn't drive it, but I would sell it.

We have easily achieved anything Liverpool and Stoke can achieve in the past.

First Etihad derby 4-1 win
Beating Villa in that night game
Beating Chelsea 1-0 the season they only lost two games
A defeat to United around 2006
Hamburg
First twenty minutes when Robino scored a free kick against Chelsea right after we got taken over and signed him (that as noisy as I've ever heard at the Etihad, didn't last all game though, or even all first half, but what a noise we made)
United 1-0 Kompany header
Villa 4-0 game 2014 run-in
Last 20mins against Sunderland in 2012 when we were 1-3 down and drew 3-3
Much of the game when Wanchope scored against Newcastle that made is pretty much safe, especially the end
Second half comeback against Sporting
Second half against United FA Cup when we were 0-3 down at half time and had Kompany sent off where I ended 2-3 and we nearly nicked a draw

The biggest noise I reckon I've ever heard though from us was from the Kompany goal against United in 2012 to half time and when the players were walking off and we were singing "We're Not Really Here" and my ears were hurting!

These are just off the top of my head. On our day we're as good as anyone. All of the above were better than last week against Paris and more I've not mentioned. But we've certainly got it in us.

the atmosphere for the PSG game was top notch in my opinion. Might not of been constant noise throughout but those were tense moments and only added to the elation when we scored. It was certainly a memorable night. I don't want choreographed singing i want organic noise like the PSG game.

Also, a stop to the 1894 lads or the people around that area singing never felt more like singing the blues or other united related songs would be good. They're irrelevant and as far as we are concerned, for this game they don't exist! Singing about them not being there is rather sad. Not to mention the singing of that song when they haven't lost or we're not winning!

Fuck BT sport and their rag pundits and their 25000 viewers we'll take the roof off for this game.

I imagine that the ground will be virtually full pretty early so if the club turn the fucking PA cheese down a notch or two the atmosphere will build nicely.

The CL attracts more than it's fair share of occasional fans so it's up to us dyed in the wool blues, whatever section we're in, to act as a touchpaper for those newish fans around us who aren't maybe as inclined to belt out songs and get em singing along with us.

Chelsea was a brilliant atmosphere actually, if you say otherwise I have no idea what you're expecting.

Bang on, Paris was ok but we are capable of so much more.

we need to get the etihad rocking tomorrow !. we've not had enough amazing atmospheres over the past few years, hamburg and the united game ( kompany header) come to mind. ill be singing my heart out in the south stand tomorrow.

"I have never seen a Man City team not turn up when the fans are up for it. It is actually an appeal to them that they have to be as loud as they have ever been, otherwise what is the point of buying a ticket to come in? That is what we need from them."- Kompany

there shouldnt be any excuses - 'the crowd got nervous'. lets get right behind them and support the blues. Scarves, flags, banners. Come on city !!!
