Letting on to Blues

Once peeped my horn and let on to a Morrocan wearing a snide Sergio city top crossing the river Ebro in Spain . "Nice shirt mate....." and a thumbs up. He hadn't the foggiest idea what was going on.
Surprised the poor lad didn't take cover in fear of being on the wrong end of an assassination attempt............

Years ago when Vodafone was on the front of utd's shirts, I was given for my birthday an England cricket one day shirt and England were also sponsored by Vodafone
Going on holiday wearing it, walking through Manchester Airport and I spotted a rat in his utd branded polo shirt and I immediately knew what was going to happen
Sure enough, he saw the "Vodafone " and when I got close, he nodded and said "alright"
It was only last year when I removed Vodafone from my boycott list and bought their broadband. Although it’s a zillion years since they sponsored the rags, I still feel dirty.

If Bluemoon had a “dislike” button, I wouldn’t have made this confession.

I think I only would on holiday too. Doing it in Manchester is borderline pointless.

When I’m introduced to a friend of a friend then it’s fine because we’ve common ground but, last time it was a Blue, then we ended up swapping numbers to watch matches etc.

Strangely enough we were looking for a new tumble dryer the other week candy was coming out the best deal ,Mrs was amazed to hear theres no way that coming in my fuckin house .

I make a point of letting on to anyone I see in City gear. It usually consists of "come on City" and a smile, kids get a thumbs up and a pat of my chest where the badge is. I get some strange reactions as most of those I let on to don't get the come on City thing :-)
Where, exactly, do the kids get a “thumbs up”?

I once had a “Sharp” microwave.
Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.
