Hope City might try this sometime so we get that connection with the kippax and south stand maybe increasing the volume on these "smaller" games .

Any thoughts ...

Will only work if both kippax fans and north stand are side by side, if the seats are sold on open sale it won't.

Exactly this^^^^^^^

It has been tried before, we have had operation 1 end that didn't work and we have had the lower tier in the SS all Blues and they just sat down! They rightly got slagged off by the Singing Section and the SS proper.

Fulham have only got 1 block so it's virtually one end anyway!

annoying thing for those of us that sit in tiers two and three is that they have to shut an entire spiral for just a couple hundred fans which when they did it for villereal caused massive queues at the other spirals.

Totally agree. The fans which buy these tickets are not normally very vocal and would be more suited to the family stand. Great to see them there but they do not really contribute to the atmosphere. They also expect to sit down, which when surrounded by the 111 and the South Stand wanting to stand doesn't help either. Not sure of the solution but would be great if something could be worked out

Its also not up to City which tickets Fulham sell. City are obliged to offer them all the away end, they will then take what they want and return the rest. As the lower tier is cheaper this is always going to be the first choice of the away club.

Should do what they did last year for Villarreal's 50 fans!

Stick them up in the corner of the 3rd tier of the east stand where they can't be seen or heard.

QPR don't do this, told to sell the upper (more expensive) first

then will then only they release the lower.

unless city wanted the 3k straight away, which they will have had to pay upfront..
