I e-mailed the club last week and asked how can I make a decision if they haven't told me how much a season card will cost for the 2011/2012 season.
I received a reply which said that they would try and answer my question by e-mail last Friday.
Surprise, surprise I haven't received anything yet, although I'm still hopeful they will be in touch before the relocation date of 12th June.
Apparently, the staff in the ticket office were quoting that seats would cost in excess of £1000. Someone on here looked at the cost of a similar package that's already available at City and for this season that was around a grand.
I think though that it's not just the potential doubling in price.
It's the whole matchday experience for the regulars. You build a camaraderie with the people you sit with week to week, but if every game you are surrounded by different corporates, that atmosphere will totally disappear.

I straw polled the people who sit around me and out of the eight I asked, all were going to relocate if the cost is in excess of £800

Funnily enough most of my mates want to stay put even at that cost.

Most!!
Can you be a little more accurate and if say two out of six said they wanted to move because of the price, would you all move?

-- May 4th, '10, 10:33 --

are you liking or lumping it then?
and how did to come to like or lump?
as i can't make that call
i would like to stay for obvious reasons, and if i can afford it i will, but until i know how much how do i know

Exec seats are 850 + vat, that is approx what you will be paying for the "premium experience" however you get a free programme and car park space.

The club will be creating more of these seats so I would hazard a guess there will be a range from about 750+vat through to 1000+vat depending on how near the half way line you want to be.

That is what I am basing my decision upon.

So if a husband and wife renew, will they get a discount because they only require one car parking space?

Now that all the north standers have taken whats left of any decent seat in the ground after being moved.... where on earth are the level 2 guys gonna go next season ?.. these are people who have had the best seats in the house for years and i just cant see them being happy with back row 3rd tier.......?
well that looks about where i will be moving to

I dont need to take the car and i like to have a drink on match day.
So would never use the "FREE" Car park space.

Plus if you go as a group not every one buys a programe.
So why would you want a "FREE" programe on your seat.

Who has asked for these shit add ons to your season ticket. I just want to go to the game with my mates To watch City and get behind the team

I think the club are deluded if they think they can up the prices by £300 the season after next - let's be honest we do not have a huge fan base, ehat has set us apart over the last 40 years is the loyalty of our support not the size of it - hence free the 35,000 was about 35,000 people who went week in and week out, where the support did not drop in tier 3 etc - the point being there are not another 40,000 rich fans out there who would come in and buy these tickets, if there were then we would sell the ground out for cup games. The sooner gary cock and his cohorts realise that the FANS are what makes City what it is, and if they are alienated there sinply is no club, however much money we have got. I think what CITY should be doing is trying to understand that we have lost most of an entire generation in Manchester due to the success in trafford and we should be doing more in Manchester's schools - free tickets, player visits etc - let's get that generation interested and at the same time let's not piss off the generation who made us what we are - loyal, decent and BLUE, not rich glory hunters

Fuck me, at last someone talking sense! The majority of lads I sit with are the same I stood with on the Kippax when we were getting twenty odd thousand years ago. We're not arsed with padded seats, free programmes and a place to park your car as part of some sort of enhanced match day experience. We're just LOYAL City fans who just want to continue supporting the blues, without being forced to sit in the pissing down rain or up in the gods if we don't want to pay a grand a season. Let the bandwaggon twats sit in those seats or go in the executive areas that don't sell out at the moment. Because if the wheels ever come off Mr Cook, these fuckers will be nowhere to be seen and neither will you (Thank fuck).

I'm getting a tad more confused each time I read one of these threads. Myself, my cousin and my Dad are level 2 North standers and have been told we can renew between the dates of the 14 - 20th of May, and that we can relocate to a new section of the ground, (in our case, East Level 1) on the dates of the 12 - 14th June, and yet some North Standers on here seemed to have relocated yesterday, some with such good seats as block 110 and 111.

Puzzling, could anybody please help me out?

From the OS:

Each relocate window will see a number of additional seats becoming available in other areas of the Stadium. As a reminder, the renewal date timetable is:

· Between 3 – 7 May. North Stand Seasoncard holders may apply to move to any available seat, not currently occupied by an existing Seasoncard holder in any area of the Stadium.

· Between 8 – 12 May. North Stand Seasoncard holders may apply, along with all other Seasoncard holders, for one of the limited number of 'Value' Seasoncards priced at £250

· Between 1 - 3 June. North Stand Seasoncard holders may apply, along with all other Seasoncard holders, to move to any available seat in the South Stand

· Between 12 – 14 June. North Stand Seasoncard holders may apply, along with all other Seasoncard holders, to move to any available seat in the Colin Bell Stand or East Stand (Levels 1 & 3)

· Between 23 – 25 June. North Stand Seasoncard holders may apply, along with all other Seasoncard holders, to move to any available seat in the Colin Bell Stand or East Stand (Level 2)

She is way too heavy to post mate!! and fook I'm in trouble if she reads this!!!

I cant see the appeal of a car park pass - the one time I've parked in a City car park, it took me 25 minutes to get out of the car park, then another 25 minutes to get off Alan Turing way! Car Park pass and a free programme is NOT enhancing matchday experience whatsoever
