Level 2 Next Season

I brought this up at a meeting once. The club agreed that disabled fans would also be privvy to the (vast) price increase. When I said that if the disabled fans wanted to move, they could be in a situation where they would have to turn them away from the cheaper seats as there just wouldn't be enough, they seemed stumped.

It won't be long before the whole if level 2 is similar to 'club wembley' and is unaffordable to most fans and empty for the 1st 10 mins of the second half

I sit East Level 2 Block 201.

2009/10 Season - £478
2010/11 Season - £525
2011/12 Season - £650 (from memory)

So I paid a 10% increase for this season and now they expect me to pay a further 20%+ next season (if I've got the price right).

The letter said the improved facilities/experience would extend from 201 to 210 in the East Stand, the close to the middle of the pitch the higher the price increase.

I was in 201...and relocated to 3rd tier this season when we got the letter telling us it was going up at the start of next season. It will start at just over £900 near half way going down to £750 towards the ends, and it is the whole East and Colin Bell. Leter said something about enhanced match day experience, parking, programme and pie included in price ofyour season ticket.

I wasn't happy at first but now prefer it in the gods, great few and not got any moaning bar stewards around me. Bit annoying getting moved for some cup games when they close the top tier tho. Decieded to move this year to get better choice of new seat.

If I want a pie or a programme I'll buy one, I don't want to be forced into having them.

The idea of parking being included is also a joke as people who already park there have huge delays in getting out at the moment, can you imagine what it'll be like if hundreds of extra people are parking there as well.

I said all of this when I completed the questionnaire at the end of last season and I still haven't changed my mind.

the only enhanced experience i want is the one on the pitch.all the rest is immaterial.i'll hang in there as long as finances allow but can see the point where straw, camel, break and back come in to play and i'll have to put up with 3d glasses, plush upholstelery, central heating ,free parking ,cheaper beer and atmosphere of all the nobs in my local pub.

Completely agree with you, we looked at it and decided to take the relocation plunge for this season for precisely the reasons you outlined before this coming season's clamour for third tier season tickets happened. Have got great seats not far from the front just above where we used to sit on level 2. Bit lonely up there on cup days though!! And when we get kicked out (eg Poznan) there's usually plenty level 2 seats to choose from :-)

My mate's in East stand 204, when he renewed for this season he was told that his section would be a 'premium seat' next season and going up £300 and he reckons that 206 is the same (205 already corporate). Saw this in the brochure when they were moving everyone around at end of last season. In East stand I think it's only 204/205/206. Don't know about CB stand though.

thats me then!!!
