There won't be any empty seats at the derby except the usual ticket holders who don't show.

Liverpool will have an embarrassing amount though, you know ticket sales are bad whenever they take level 3 off sale online to try and fill the lower tiers. In the end the pricing for Liverpool has been a big failure and backfired. Hopefully we can scrape our way to 40,000 and fill the lower levels.

I wonder if we'll sell out our quota if we reach the final? I have my doubts as we'll be playing a Championship side if we do.

just drop the fucking prices for god sake city! who the fuck thinks of these prices?

we should sell out if we get to the final, if we don't then it's a fucking travesty.

They can't drop them without giving eveyone who already bought a ticket a refund to match - including the Mickies.

they've done it before though, anything to sell out i say. and i've already bought my ticket.

I bought my normal seat in CBL3, so it had better be open, but £37.50 for a game that's on the BBC was hardly going to sell out, despite its importance with it being just after Christmas, and not being included in season tickets. I expect plenty of letters to The Daily Mail as the "If you're watching on the telly, you're a ****" chants will no doubt get an airing.

we haven t won enough in my life time for me to give a trip to wembley a miss..;)
( one fa cup in 35 yrs!)

I think the price has a lot to do with Liverpool. Don't both clubs have to agree on ticket prices? I assume thats why its also £40 for rags in Cup. These two clubs are just concerned about maximising revenue not looking after fans.

Liverpool will know that they will always sell out Anfield due to the number of fans they have even at £45. They could not charge their own fans that and then allow us to charge £15.

As far as Liverpool go if gate receipts are shared then they would rather have our ground with 30,000 in paying £45 than 48000 in paying £15.

City should be more creative though. Porto wont sell at that stupid time so why not offer fans who buy a Liverpool ticket a free ticket for Porto or something like that.

For me with this turnout its advantage Liverpool which is a shame.

The club have done this before when it looks like it may be a smaller than normal turnout. By selling levels 1 and two first, it looks better on TV.

Level 3 is open though as I have just had my confirmation email.

I fucking hope not, I'm going the derby Sunday and also to the second leg away and I will be watching on T.V, I just can't pay out this much money in a short space of time.

Not true as everyone has had to pay for this game specifically, nothing like when the season ticket holders pick and choose when they attend. Any empty seats for this will be even more embarrassing given that the away allocation was about 2,500 more than usual as well.

Those that can be there will be there.
Those that cant will be cheering the blues on all the same.
Football is very very expensive now, lucky that me and my lads are in the cup scheme so got the fa cup tie at a more affordable rate, otherwise all 3 of us couldnt of done both games.
Lets stop using terms like embarassment and disgraceful - there will be 40000 there which for a game after christmas, before payday isnt bad. Empty seats for these games will eventually mean lower prices.
Come on city
