well to be fair thats nowhere near proven yet but the indicators are they could have been - the problem is they decide based on the evidence and this could be another case of the Police fitting someone up for a crime

The forensic evidence against Stone was always iffy at best, if the documentary about the case was correct.

Hes also supposedly admitted to the Judith Gold murder, i have no doubt he will confess to more as the years pass.

And as long as the solicitors can screw the legal aid we will keep hearing how every other killer is innocent and he's the only baddy.

Sadly a lot of British people seem to be the same. I am racking my brains for the name of the murderer but ..... One case in particular, a foreign female student was murdered. The owner of the house she rented was white, long white hair and appeared different, (odd, eccentric etc) The media decided based purely on his looks, he was guilty. Sadly most of the population also decided the same and he was hounded.
And then the cops arrested the killer

(I have only mentioned he was white to try and jog peoples memories, I can picture him clearly but can't remember the case)

Christopher Jefferies. Absolutely horrendous. Some of thise newspaper editors should have gone to prison over what they did to him

I've just read the Wikipedia entry about this. The amount of evidence regarding Stones being guilty that was not allowed to be given is amazing.
He could remember what he was doing the week before the murder and even the day after, but not the important day. Yet when asked about his clothes that witnesses who knew him say were bloodstained he remembered he burnt them !
