Lewandoski

Jurgen Klopp has said if Edin Dzeko wants to join Borussia Dortmund he will have to take a pay cut.

The coach of the German double winners said that any player signing for the club would have to do so within their strict wage budget.

"He is an extraordinary forward," he told Sports Image.

"Falcao for example is great as well. One thing we can say about these names, but also about others: At Borussia Dortmund, everything was made regarding our conditions and salary structures. We won't cancel this for any player in the world.

"That is what he has to do by himself. If and when Robert [Lewandowski] leaves, a new forward has to accept our conditions. Then he is interesting.

"If anybody wants to come to us, he has to adapt financially. Then he can have real fun, probably more than at his old club."

The Dortmund coach went on to reveal that another transfer target, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Sebastian Rode, will not join the club in January, while his hope is for Kevin Grosskreutz and Robert Lewandowski to stay at BVB.

"He is a really interesting boy and would fit well to us," he added. "But Frankfurt clearly stated they won't let him go. So we won't negotiate and won't sign him.

"My wish is for both [Kevin Grosskreutz and Robert Lewandowski] to stay."

Didn't know Klopp had said that.

Nice knowing you, Edin.

He looks a tidy player but there always seems so much more space in German football, he also misses a good few chances.

Don't know how he would fit in with Bayern, but then again Guardiola does not like big lads does he Yaya and Zlaten.

Maybe he will reshape the frontline and Muller and the other big lad up front will be on their bikes.

Well he brought in Zlatan himself and replaced Yaya with Busquets so I wouldn't say it was definitive that he doesn't like big lads. He had half of his hand given to him whilst at Barca but I'm sure when he starts at Bayern he will do things slightly differently. Despite their amazing abilities Barca both had and have flaws, with set pieces being an example.

Dzeko to them, I will place a bet.
I wouldn't mind, I rate them more than Bayern. There are 4 clubs that I can't stand: United, Bayern, Inter and Barcelona. In that order...

Corrupt, pompous, cheating, and self fornicating.

Maybe I generalised at bit with the big lads, he's hardly got a bad hand this time either.

Be interesting to see how it goes, personally he will be a success, they are nearly there in Europe and only real threat domestically is Dortmund.

Dortmund play astounding football but I think Bayern will be too powerful over the next few years.

I definitely did not see this coming. Dortmund supporters won't take this so easily in my opinion. Bayern are looking stronger within the minute and I don't like this one bit. They are one of the teams I just can't stand.

Anyways this really opens the door for Dzeko to Dortmund, and I hope Cavani to us!

There is no space in football when teams play against Bayern. Lewandowski ain't the type that would give them an improvement.

Müller is 1,86 m. And he signed a new contract until 2017 after Guardiola already had agreed on the contract with Bayern. I seldom have seen Rummenigge smiling as much as on the photos with Müller from that day. I bet with you that Müller is as much key in Guardiola's plans for the future as he is in Bayern's. He is 23 - and leading the goal and assist table in Germany - and most of his goals and assist have been the important ones. Without him Bayern would not have made the group win in the CL either. He has participated with goal or assist in 50 per cent of the away goals. Müller had a contract already until 2015 - it was not necessary to prolong it. But he is not just scoring, he has grown in a leading role in that team the recent months and is very important with his mentality.

Yaya's problem at Barcelona was that his agent brought a lot of trouble into the team at Barcelona. And Zlatan's problem was more Messi than Guardiola.

Guardiola watches the Bundesliga and Bayern - he will see and know that you need some taller players in the match in that league.

That line screams Dzeko to me, and Dzeko to BVB wouldn't surprise me at all as that rumour has been in the air for a while now.

When there's smoke...

Swedish media today reporting Lewandoski to Bayern done deal this summer.
I wonder if that's a Pep signing or a board signing.

So, Dortmund really needs a new striker I guess.

It's unlike the German clubs to sound arrogant.
