Lewandoski

That's that then, Dzeko to Dortmund.

Great signing for Bayern and ffits their system perfectly, interesting with Pep though because I can't see the Barca way suiting him. Sound as is now but unsure of a Barca-lite?

United rumour off then.

Don't believe the rumour is off. 'Tis all a smokescreen and a carefully place mirror.

@honigstein: Sky Italia sticking with Lewandowski to Bayern story, they say source was NOT a tweet from German blogger @breitnigge

Swedish media today reporting Lewandoski to Bayern done deal this summer.
I wonder if that's a Pep signing or a board signing.

So, Dortmund really needs a new striker I guess.

And it is not one you could believe...

Dortmund would not sell to Bayern...
Arsenal fans said the same thing and look who's playing for United.

Lewandowski does not offer anything far different that is already in the team with Mandzukic or Gomez. And Lewandowski is a player that totally fits into the Dortmund style of play - Bayern already has the perfect players to play on the break (look e.g. to the 1:0 they did against Mainz) - and Lewandowski is not the player you might need as a ball possession team against bus parking teams.

What Bayern could need would be the more technical forward, somebody like Claudio Pizarro, the third Bayern striker, in young (he is already 34) - but Lewandowski just is not.

Dortmund will not sell to Bayern - especially they would not be in bargains at this time of the season.

Lewandowski wants to go to the EPL.

All of the sources are rubbish.

Lewandowski will have only 1 year left on his contract. They just have to sell. Its like RvP to UTD.

Do you stand by that now that Bild and Der Spiegel are running it? Bild say Dortmund are asking for €30million though. Wouldn't surprise me if Bayern get him, the kings of all that is fair and moral in football will probably go after Gotze next.

They could try but I dont think that Gotze would force that move and his contract will expire in 2016 so he should spend another 2 seasons with Dortmund.

He also said a week or so ago that he had 'big news next week for his fans'. He's on the move and Dortmund can hope he goes elsewhere but fact is the player can push his weight around and get the move he wants. Contract running down and balls in his court.

Lew's words and Klopps quotes are all linked. Ship Lew out, buy Dzeko who's a better player. Everyone wins.

At least when he leaves we'll have a suitor for dzeko who will give us decent value

People ought not get their hopes up over the 'Dzeko to Dortmund' stuff. BVB are a bastion of fiscal prudence and, since their renaissance under Klopp, have built a team on practically nothing. The idea that they'd now go out and blow £20m-£25m + >£100,000 on a player who even most here believe to be, shall we say, limited, sounds like pure fantasy to me.
