Such a poor performance to be going into the Madrid game. I really don't know what's going on with Grealish but he looked awful at the end, huge suitcases under his eyes and gaunt..did anybody else notice it? I don't know whether we just underestimated them or not but that wasn't good. Good to see Kushinov come on and do well, loving the goal he didn't realise he'd scored :) Our injury curse carries on, on second viewing I'm half thinking that big twat meant to come down heavy on Gonzo. Looks like it could be some kind of pelvic injury the way he fell on him, just hope it's bruising. Unfortunately, every game we play, the rebuild looks like it needs to be bigger.
It was scrappy. The last 15 mins were the most concerning for me. I thought we were dreadful in that period from 2-1 up. Kicking the ball straight into touch, losing possession and looking very shaky when they attacked us with free kicks and long throws.

Bollocks!! I hated the rags long before they were continuously successful.
Yea obviously because they are our nearest rivals, my point was we weren't hated the length of the country 30 years ago. We are now that we win things. Honestly didn't think it was that hard a concept to grasp.

Jack is probably not up to speed yet as he hasn't played consistently.
I thought he was always on the front foot today and driving at them. He probably tired at the end as he isn't match fit and hasn't had a full 90 under his belt for a while.
No biggie.

haven't read through the thread.

my summary guess is...

credit to orient.

the commentators are cunts.

guardiola is a ****.

I hope you're right because I think we need him if we're going toe to toe with Real Madrid.

A lot closer than it should have been, credit to Orient for giving it a go indeed, their goal was a superb effort. Hope Gonzalez and Dias are fit for Tuesday, we really need to perform against Real, I hope Haaland has his shooting boots on!

I wasn't slagging his performance off pal, I thought he had a decent 2nd half, it was purely the way he looks. He looked like he'd not had a good night's sleep in months.

Media have been waiting for City to be in a prolonged 'badspell' they can't hide their bias, awful commentary again.

Ref was absolutely subpar and needs investigating.

Some 'academy/youth' players are not ready to start and need to be patient, others would benefit from a loan spell.

Savinho and Reis did well but we still look unfit and disjointed.

Nico should be fine, that's not the type of tackle that should keep a 6,2 lad out, Rodri and Ferna used to eat those challenges for breakfast, get some deep heat on it and report for training on Monday, if he's not fit for Madrid, then...I prefer not to speak.

It summed up our season, we really need to stop faffing around in our penalty area and track back with pace, we will be humiliated in the rest of February unless Pep can get his defensive midfield to go back to basics. When we were 2-1 up, we still panicked in defence, the last few years we would have controlled possession and seen the game out

I would have preferred a defeat than a draw, to be honest. We couldn’t afford extra time before the next run of games
