Happy to be wrong.Delap is actually very quick. Still slower than Walker, Raz and Cancelo. He jus looks a little clunky because of his build
For me, that would leave us too weak after next season as Aguero will be either gone or used very sparingly, and Delap still developing.Personally, and I know people might disagree here, but if we buy a top striker next season, I hope we cash out on Jesus and keep a front line of said striker, kun and delap.

Agreed,Jesus offers us far more in terms of overall play than 'just a striker'.He is still improving too.For me, that would leave us too weak after next season as Aguero will be either gone or used very sparingly, and Delap still developing.
That said, don't see us even considering letting Jesus go.
That's why I said *if* we buy a top striker (i.e haaland). I don't think that's too lean a set up, and it's in fact a lot stronger than what we're dealing with this seasonFor me, that would leave us too weak after next season as Aguero will be either gone or used very sparingly, and Delap still developing.

My response was predicated on your assumption. That's why I said *if* we buy a top striker (i.e haaland). I don't think that's too lean a set up, and it's in fact a lot stronger than what we're dealing with this season

fair concern, I misread you, I still don't think it's worth keeping jesus for that.Still think we would be weak

Prem maybe a stretch.....I think a team like Brentford who play good football would be the better level.Maybe on my own and he's still a bit young but he looks great for a loan to a team like Brighton, they play great football but struggling with someone putting the ball in the net

I wont disagree with any of that. He's putting in some really mature performances, unfortunately he's not got that killer instinct to be a 30 goal a season striker. Or he doesn't look like he does anyway. Would love to see it really click for him with us and his attitude is top class.
Delap is doing everything right and looks great prospect. It will be interesting to see what we do with him, but he's an exciting player to have coming through.
Missed 4, not 3Not that it’s a particularly notable record, but if he gets 3 more goals in the remaining 9 games he’ll break the record for most goals scored in a PL2 season. And he’s missed 3 games due to suspension and he doesn’t take penalties.
