Sounds like he's got his head screwed on and is getting good advice.

Citing Foden as inspiration and the benefits of training with the first team. Hopefully he'll remain patient and prove himself to Pep.

We cannot lose this guy on the cheap. He'll be worth 4 times what Liverpool got for Brewster in 2 years.

The pressure on a young striker to deliver within first handful of games must make it different than somebody like Foden. With about 60 PL appearances so far, he had 40 of those before this season. Giving Delap 40 PL games before coming good would see manager's patience tested.

Delap is someone who I can imagine benefitting from 20, 30, 40 games in a second tier league with a track record of producing good strikers.

I think he can handle it and if he played 40 PL games for us, I'd expect around 10 goals from him.

His all round game would need patience but his finishing would certainly help.

Might be an idea if you watch some footage of Haaland.

Delap has many similar attributes.

Real Madrid are sniffing around to sign this lad. It will be really a big disappointment if the club sells this lad. His big star potential is there for everyone to see.
 
Delap is a great prospect and needs time to develop, he has just turned 18 it will take another 3 years to get him up to full pace, watching some of his performances he has strength pace and an eye for goal, I am uncertain if we have had a player like him before at this age, he could be as good as Haaland in time, who knows.
 
Could be special. Start him in the cup games next season, could save us a fortune. Haaland, Jesus & Delap is a great set of striking options.
