There is that, always seems extra spicy when playing them. Not sure that he should play in the next EDS game ?
It's against his old club Derby and he got a red card in both games last season

He'll prob be given a high end loan next season if the injury is ok from here till the end of the season. Clubs have asked this window already.Probably the biggest lose from the Julian Alvarez deal. He's got until July to make an impression on the first team or he's going to see all his opportunities gone.
Not if it's only Alvarez we get in, rotation and even playing together could be an option. Of course if it's Haaland AND Alvarez then yeah, he's stuffed here.Probably the biggest lose from the Julian Alvarez deal. Unless Alvarez is seen as an option to replace one of (Sterling, Jesus, Mahrez) whose contracts are running down in 1.5 years. Not if it's only Alvarez we get in, rotation and even playing together could be an option. Of course if it's Haaland AND Alvarez then yeah, he's stuffed here.

They are all different, hes very young luckily so lots of time on his side. Kane didnt break into the Spurs first team squad regularly till after 4 loans and was 21. Alvarez can play all accross the front 3, i dont think anyone expects Haaland (if its him) to be here longer than the one contract, all if/ands/buts right now.Surely a loan deal is the club basically saying, you're not good enough for us at the moment and you have no chance of getting decent first team playing time...so off you go to a fairly decent club so we can increase your value, and then sell you?
Theres probably loads, but i cant think of anyone who has been loaned out and come back to get into the 1st teamThey are all different, hes very young luckily so lots of time on his side. For us, no (unless you count Steffen, Angelino & Zinchenko) - but hopefully that's changing with the academy bearing fruit and the club having a stable style from top to bottom. They seem alot more picky over where the kids are going and to who.Theres probably loads, but i cant think of anyone who has been loaned out and come back to get into the 1st team
Zinchenko is the only one really, unless you count Steffen.Theres probably loads, but i cant think of anyone who has been loaned out and come back to get into the 1st team
Being realistic, would Delap have actually got any meaningful time anyway? Almost the only gripe I have of Pep is that he just doesn't seem to be willing to give the Academy lads late minutes even when a game is done and dusted.i'm of the pessimistic opinion that his fate is already sealed on the account of those 6 missed months. that was probably his time to bolt forward and stake his claim, now it's gonna take too long for him to get back into gear. i reckon he'll make it somewhere else.
And he certainly didn't break into the first team because of his loan.Zinchenko is the only one really, unless you count Steffen.

Mahrez 31 soon alsoUnless Alvarez is seen as an option to replace one of (Sterling, Jesus, Mahrez) whose contracts are running down in 1.5 years.
More of our player senior and youth player alikes should have Zinchenko mentality, the first time we sign him i thought he will be just another CFG player to be loaned into different clubs every season never going to have a single match for first team squad.
But he never give up and keep staying, refusing to be sold because he wants to earn his way up to become a first team player. Even Zinchenko is aware that he will never be good enough to be reguler for our team, but he stil keep trying and working hard based on belief that eventually Pep will notice him and he did. Being a part of this squad alongside a world class player and approved by world class manager like Pep must be one of the biggest achievement of his life.
