Liam Gallagher: 48 hours at Rockfield

We moved into the seats about half way through. Much better and away from all the bellends throwing beer about. Must be richer than me at 7 quid a pop!

Liam really grew into the performance last night, it was a fantastic spectacle and really glad I was there.

Weird how many Scousers were there, strange vibe with loads strutting about before the game spouting anti-City stuff. Some gimps started singing United nursery rhymes on the pitch when Liam came out. Gormless cunts left catching flies when I asked "how can we fuck off home when we are at home?". Wouldn't get me on the pitch at the Swamp drinking out of a Man United cup, very fucking weird behaviour, or maybe I'm just a bitter blue bastard.

I did have a laugh when the two scousers in front of us, their tickets didnt work lol

I’d imagine it’s gets a bit embarrassing when waking up in the morning as a 50yr old and realising you have to put that fake accent on all day yet again. Man child who once was relevant.
Harsh + arrogant, his talent for insulting and boiling the piss of scousers, reds etc is a gift , Oasis were a big positive in the worst period in city's history and both brothers still promote the club at every opportunity , preferable to Murrs, Stormzy etc.

He seems to have settled down and is now enjoying a flourishing solo career, after a stuttering start with beady eye.
He's a singer, not a musician. It's up to him to get a decent band behind him and a team of songwriters that can produce material that showcases his talents.
Noel was perfect for this. I'm pretty sure he wrote a lot of early oasis songs with Liams voice in mind, but moved away from this in the latter years, and especially when he finally started writing the high flying birds stuff, which I can't imagine liam singing. (In fact he'd already penned some of the hfb stuff before the split)
Liam can still cut it, so fair play to him, I don't get the hate.

Oh, and while I'm at it, he's blue to the core. So even if I didn't like his singing, I'd still like him, for that reason alone. I certainly wouldn't be coming on here slagging him off.

The thing I really enjoyed last night apart from his superb performance was the diverse age range of the crowd. Fans who were not even born when Oasis played Maine Road alongside fans in my (50’s) age group who remembered watching the Charlatans at the Ritz and Legends in Warrington. It was a great vibe and so good to see so many people enjoying themselves after the shit couple of years everyone has had. It was a great gig, much better than I expected and one of the best I have been too! The free ale in the corporate section probably helped but I thought it was a top night out and Liam
Lived up to his Rock Star billing.

Troll teenagers don’t know who Liam Gallagher is. By the look of your music tastes you seem like the type that thinks he’s the bees knees.
Bees’ knees. Any RP idiot would’ve got that right. And yes, it’s more than one bee.
