I'm surely people will say that song is kind of Oasis/Roses/Jangly guitar/Britpop etc by numbers, and it is, but that shouldn't be a negative. That's what they do.

If you're going to get Liam and Squire together, then it'd be a daft idea to start making dub records.

It was a single taken from a Jam tribute album. There's some mad cover versions of Jam songs on there.....The Beastie Boys doing Start! and Mark Ronson covers Pretty Green. Liam is obviously a fan of The Jam naming his clothing label after the Jam classic track.
