Maybe doing a revenge film has made him talk about it,it was 40yrs ago in response to violence against his friend, men feel powerless when someone close gets raped, the vast majority of men would react with anger and want to vent it on someone, nobody got hurt,he is ashamed of it,move along
Rip off *****taps nose
I was just thinking the same. Not just the **** bit.Rip off ****
I'm not missing anything, what was going on in the 70's with race relations is a million miles from what happens now,i'l leave you to twist yourself into knotsYou miss the point of the furore.
All you're hitting are the bullet points and miss what's in between or you don't care.
It's a delicate issue with many avenues of unsaid context, not 'just a story from 40 years ago'.

What a kn*bhead thing to say! What it shows is that no matter how much I might want to think I'm included, that deep macabre thoughts can lie in the heart of the people I least expect it in.
How comfy would you be around someone who said "40 years ago, for 10 days, I felt like raping any old bird, but I worked really hard on that notion by power walking for 2 hours a day!"?
This would be coming from some dude who had sexist thoughts about some woman who got his mate weighed in, but isn't sexist now.
If you said 'that was a fooked up thing to say' and you were told that you're twisting yourself up in knots, wouldn't YOU be annoyed?
The fact that you can't empathise surprises me, actually.
Not any more, though.
I know where you stand.
