Sad tale, but I never heard of him until today. It seems like he couldn’t cope with the fame and what goes with it
They’ll have had contracts that will stop them ever being exposed properly. In the murky world of the so-called tv talent shows and becoming showbiz stars or so-called celebrities.
PIMPS like Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh will make you an overnight success until the shows start again the year after then they will drop you like a hot potato because they have had their fun with you.
Genuine talent does not need to go on a tv talent show and hate the likes of Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh Pimping Somebody for a quick buck.
We all knock the 1970s /80s and TV shows for using somebody for their dirty needs and rightly so, But what Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh do is sort of the same thing and maybe in 10 or 20 years they also will be outed
R.I.P young man
Is that the one with the plastic head.Just an aside , Ray Quinn went on to be a big theatre star . Alexander Burke the same and just going into acting as well now . Diana Vickers took the same path in the west end . Lots carried on singing and acting , writing big songs for big artists. I never got the snobby attititude to the show , it made simon millions and quite a few ordinary people millionares a few times over and a life they never dreamed of, it was a very successful show
There was ella henderson who had a very good career , wrote some really banging songs for herself and other artists , i think she made it big in yankland , she was voted out early which was a real scandal at the time , the public got that wrong
Could go on for some time on this , lol
And lets not forget rylan ! He does very well for himself lol
He loved his time in the band , didnt want the split to happen he did ok solo but not the same, it is then he went off the rails. I cant even seek to understand what it is like to performing to massive crowds all over the world for years to pretty much nothing happeningSad tale, but I never heard of him until today. Rylan ? He is really a ginge and dyes his hair and beard and has massive turkey teeth, looks very odd but i like himIs that the one with the plastic head.

There's a hell of a lot in there that you could file in the "whatever happened to...." drawer. I remwmber Little Mix being very popular for a short time, but they seem to have disappeared "like a fart in the wind" (with a nod to Shawshank). And, IIRC, Stacy Solomon sang (loose definition) the national anthem at our cup final against Stoke. The X Factor has a history of runner-up acts (or even acts who finished as far down as 6th) having bigger careers than winners in other seasons.
Year - Winner - Runners-Up - 3rd place (or 4th, 5th, 6th. etc.) - Act in BOLD had the bigger career.
2004 - Steve Brookstein, G4, Tabby Callahan.
2005 - Shayne Ward, Andy Abraham, Journey South (Chico Slimani finished 6th and got a number one single with that 'It's Chico Time').
2006 - Leona Lewis, Ray Quinn, Ben Mills.
2007 - Leon Jackson, Rhydian Roberts, Same Difference.
2008 - Alexandra Burke, JLS, Eoghan Quigg (Diana Vickers finished 4th and got a number one single with 'Once').
2009 - Joe McElderry, Olly Murs, Stacey Solomon (Jedward finished 6th and have had three number ones in Ireland; Lucie Jones finished 8th and represented the UK at Eurovision).
2010 - Matt Cardle, Rebecca Ferguson, One Direction (Cher Lloyd finished 4th and got a number one single with 'Swagger Jagger')
2011 - Little Mix, Amelia Lily, Marcus Collins
There were a few more seasons after that but as you can see there, out of eight winners in the 2000s and very early 2010s (the peak of The X Factor's popularity), you could only really say three of them had the best careers of the crop they beat. With Leon Jackson that's debatable for sure because his winner's song did well but Rhydian had a much longer and healthier career in pop.
Little mix were the biggest girl band in the world , up there with 1D , they went for about six years i think . Some have solo careers and two made good docos , one had twins and is into fashion . They have always said when they can they want to work together againThere's a hell of a lot in there that you could file in the "whatever happened to...." drawer. Stacy has a show on the bbc , clearing up clutter for people and is a loose woman, has about six kids with joe swash
She did the celeb jungle after show , back when they did that show
The show is rightly proud of the talent
