95% own label products. You think it's a brand but it's a brand owned and produced/manufactured by lidl.

Haven't been in one for years, i take it they don't just throw a load of crap on pallets on the shop floor like they used to ?

Spoilt for choice where I am... every supermarket is close by however I choose Lidl every time... regardless of price, I'm finding a lot of their own branded products are better quality than more well known brands.
An example I used to buy Tropicana orange juice which is over £2 for a carton.
I switched to Lidls own orange juice and it's 49p plus it actually tastes better.
Lidl now actually stock Tropicana but I still choose their own brand.
Fresh fish tastes nice as well.
Crate of Chang beer was dirt cheap, worked out about 85p a bottle.
Only downside is they don't sell Almond Milk :(
So I have to go elsewhere for this.

How do you know it's better quality ingredients, better quality production methods etc..No some very good stuff, better quality and price than the big two most of the time
Most of this Lidl stuff comes from god knows where.

There is no doubt (IMO) Waitrose and M&S do deliver quality and enhancements with regard to taste but as for the quality of the constituent ingredients.... Who knows?
