Life as a single

Been married twice and have had a couple of year or two relationships and lived with a doctor for three years . I am happily single , couldnt bear sharing my little bungalow with someone else , it was not big enough for the last mr k and i together and that was only for about six weeks before i threw his arse out

So long as i have a cat i am fine , had a year without one when i lost my old girl and i was lonely for the first time ever , it was awful , just as the clocks went back and it was dark, cold and painfully lonely . I didnt once think i need a man , just another cat , lol

I am 64 soon and i am set

I'm 65 and getting married on Tuesday to my girlfriend I met online when I was 50. I was divorced at 36 and can honestly say that the 14 years after that, as a single man, were absolutely fantastic. As you get older there are more and more women looking for a solvent, articulate man. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder so you don't even need to be good looking (good job in my case). So chill, get yourself on the Internet and surprise yourself.
Gonna miss you on the fishing thread when she puts a stop to all those trips....;-)

Seriously, good luck to the both of you, best wishes.

Many congratulations to you both

It's harsh but true to be fair. Don't think there's any woman worth knowing who might be turned on by a partner's admiration of creepy misogynists like Trump,Musk and Tate.

Although, most women would probably be put off by the mirror opposite (LGBT ally obsessive, performative wokeness).

Dianne Abbott's description of a not particularly romantic motorbike holiday with Jeremy Corbyn is rather illuminative considering they were fellow travellers in more than the literal sense.
Eww, just the thought of Abbot and corbyn on a smelly 2 stroke

Get a loveable dog you will be surprised how many females you get to talk to by going for walks, keep the dog small so you ain’t picking up huge dumps.
I have 4 cats , probably that’s one more reason I am still single :)
