Lifestyle & retirement

I am 58 no debts, kids grownup, mortgage free, no car.
I could retire tomorrow but I love my job.
My plan is to retire at 62 but wonder how I will spend my days especially in Winter.
I don't want to watch TV all day or become a gamer.
What do people do when they retire?
Read the books you promised yourself
Take up a hobby you always fancied like painting, etc..
Visit galleries
Go to theatre shows
Travel out of school holidays is cheap
Golf
Walk any time you feel like
Got a garden? Develop it, Enjoy it

I think I could read more but I do read all the time.
I could go swimming and walk more.
Spend a lot of time in my garden already. At this time of year an hour a day after work.

The new hobby bit is one I am struggling with or volunteering.
I want to keep busy even in Winter especially through the week.
I would needa routine or I will become lazy.

Thanks for your input.

How about travelling to a place without a football team…

Winter is a slog in this country. I think when you do retire I would always recommend it in Spring rather than Autumn for that reason.
