'Limping, then hobbling now staggering over the line' But Definitely Over!!!

Fell over the line.

Joe Hart seemed as pissed off as the rest of us in his post match interview but we did it and that's all that matters.

Rags would swop their season for ours in a heartbeat even if they win the FA Cup. Never forget that.

I don't like these comparisons with what the rags have done. They seem to be making a lot of threads. Who cares nowadays.

I really just care how we do and for me we have under performed in the bread and butter that is the league. We are not the only team to do so but that just doesn't make it feel any better to me. This season has been a real disappointment to me after the start we had. Silverware is nice and the run in the CL was unexpected but for me this is the one that matters the most and is the real test of a players and managers ability and we have failed to deliver. If we don't win it then so be it but not competing for the second season on the run with the resources we have thrown at it is poor.

Limping and hobbling would be an improvement! We fell metres ago, and one of our opponents was kind enough to drag us over the line.

According to Sly Sports, we did everything today apart from getting the point we needed to be in the CL next season.

I'm sure if Rashford had scored the winning goal against Bournemouth that would have given United 4th place, Sly Sports and Tyler would be.....(fill in as appropriate)

Then we had that boring ex-Arsenal Striker pundit, who stated on at least 3 seperate occasions with glee that City weren't in the CL proper.

We then had Carragher(spit) stating Liverpool lost the title, rather than City winning it, when discussing Pellegrini.

Then we had Sourness banging on about how poor the Manager and the team had been all season.

This taking place in-front of the story of the day. A suspected bomb inside OT.

There's enough shit being constantly reported about our club without us lot on here adding to it.

Roll on next season and a new Pep era.

Fuck em!

Well there we go, for some teams the extra money PL now delivers gives them fight and teamwork, for others it breeds complacency and indifference.

Some managers are fighting for their careers others have already been superceded mid season and have had to cope with millionaires who know they will have a new taskmaster next season.
The players are a mixed bunch of those who realise the new manager means the sack and those who want to impress the new man not the current one.

Given the circumstances I wonder if ADUG will be as relieved as we are to get CL next year. I suspect our owner will have a lot to say to his executives about their part in this years strange events.
