Anybody else catch the exchange when Lineker turned on Hansen about "juvenile back references" in the pre-match build up? Earlier Hansen said that Mario had won nothing, Dixon came back with "The Championship?" then turkey neck opined that City only won it because Balotelli got banned after being sent off at Arsenal. They then went to some pre-recorded stuff and the incident occurred just as they came back.

Or did I imagine this?

No, you definitely didn't imagine it, Lineker twice hit back at Hansen over his remarks, once before they went to the pre-recorded and once when they came back. Well done Lineker.

Hansen was a prat all night and definitely didn't want England to win. Bit like that other Scottish prat Andy "I'm supporting any team but England" Murray. At least Enlgand got there!!

Think Linekar was poking fun at himself for his reference the other night that a video was "sick" trying to be funny and down with the youth. He followed up his juvenile back references with "So leave it out, Yeh".

I found the BBC commentary interesting. It was more like propaganda. I'm still wondering if I actually saw A Young commit two of the most blatant acts of cheating I've seen in an England shirt, as it wasn't mentioned.
His cheating got a fellow professional banned from the semi-final

I had him at 10-1 for getting a yellow for diving
