I care about all the points you've made.

A brilliant player, however I don't think the long term damage is worth the short term gain based on all your valid points

Surely the players (Who stay...) would acknowledge this is a once in a lifetime opportunity not only for them to play with him but for the club to aquire such a player. It certainly wouldnt be our long term approach but a unique one-off situation.

I for one, wasnt that arsed in previous years but now the chances are actually real, imagine not only the impact on the club globally but once travel gets back to normal the impact on visitors to the city/stadium would be immense. The city council should be stumping up some cash on the back of this coming off... ;-)
