It would be insane if we landed him, I'm taking what the media publish with a heap of salt until the facts surface on whether a deal would actually be feasible anyway but even at 33 he's still on a different level.

I think a lot of people are struggling with the idea that we know what we're doing. The club know exactly what they're doing. Messi isn't going to suddenly sign a new deal or turn around and say "actually I don't want to leave". Remember, he picked up the phone to us, not the other way round. He's the one desperate to get to Manchester. City's plans were in place for this window, and they will continue as such. Messi will be a bonus of his own making for MCFC if it happens.

I think he's watched Manctopia and really wants to live in one of those £1 million apartments where you get to take in the view of all the smackheads rattling around with their trolleys full of copper pipe.

Think I have been driving myself insane with it all tbh. Il openly admit I know absolute nothing of the situation in Barcelona and will take solace in your summation of the scenario. Thanks for the info as always
