Why would everyone think what TYC says should be given more credit than his agents own letter.

As said it makes no logical sense to state the clause isn't valid to then say I'm staying.

The stance of La Liga/ Barca is clearly in unison so I'm afraid the only option Messi has is to go to court.

Unfortunately the friendly exit he craves will not happen.

If the Free exit clause isn't active, we will have to agree a fee with Barca. If that doesn't happen, they may have to go to Fifa. Looks like he's leaving. It would be odd for him to stay given the statement to La Liga.
