It's a glorious day for cules. Beggars belief both that Bartomeu resisted calls to resign for 3 years running while subverting every legal attempt to kick him out as well as the power of the democratic principles of the club that ultimately drove him & his cohorts out. A lot to work out, there are rumours Barto made some sort of deal with Goldman Sachs regarding the loan but this could also be undone due to no major decisions being permissible during a censure motion or pending election. So, will have to wait for the dust to clear - the key, of course, is that Bartomeu will not be making any of those decisions

Hopefully this is the end of this nonsense now. Had we signed him in the summer it would have made sense given he'd have covered 2 serious gaps in our squad, i.e. another attacking midfielder and an extra striker. Next season he'll be a year older and I'll be much less convinced. Hopefully we focus on bringing in a couple of young but proven forwards/midfielders instead.
