true, Berti goes into the exclusive category with the pigeon on the pitch at home to Bolton on the last day of the season. What a day that was, Berti and Pigeon.Leave Berti, out off this he,s a club legend.mate
He needs a new challenge and this is just what City can offer. He is stale possibly from his thoughts being elsewhere with Pep at the helm.Hi guys,
I apologize for my interference;
just want to give you my point of view as a fan of Barcelona and above all as a fan of Messisince his prime.
Surely we are talking about one of the best player I have ever seen (along with Maradona).
It must be said, however, that he's turning 34, and his 34 years are not equivalent to the 34 years of players like Ronaldo or Ibra, for example, who are monsters of genetics.
Today Messi remains the most technically gifted player in the world, but also a player who cannot defend and run a lot during matches. Perhaps English football is too "physical" for its athletic abilities.
If your team defends with 11 players, with Messi you would defend with 10.
I don't think he is easy to manage, I think it is foreseen by a clause of his contract at Barca that he can play whenever he wants. And on a tactical level, he is used to play wherever he wants on the pitch and it could be a problem.
Furthermore, a decline in the player is evident, testified by the fact that in 2020 he made few open play goals compared to his standards.
I’m still convinced that Messi is still able to deliver moments of "magic", but having him in the team could be a luxury rather than an advantage.
It’s gonna be a big and risky bet.
I hope I have given you some food for thought.
Cheers
That's even better than.true, Berti goes into the exclusive category with the pigeon on the pitch at home to Bolton on the last day of the season. What a day that was, Berti and Pigeon.
Do you remember when a player, I think it was KDB, was in the stands for one of our games, and it'd been reported he'd done the medical, the interview, the contracts were being drawn up etc?
After the game Pellegrini was asked about KDB and he just said "I don't talk about transfer rumours" with the biggest grin on his face.
That's what Pep will be doing when Messi gets here. He'll sign a pre-contract, his wife will have been seen buying a house in Altrincham next to Aguero's, the kids will be signed up to a local school, and Pep will just be saying "Messi is a Barcelona player, I hope he retires there" every week until it's official.
With a perfect name to play for City ;)Leave Berti, out off this he,s a club legend.mate
You still don't understand. Signing Messi will transform the club forever off the pitch. This alone makes him worth it.
Lol! Thank god u Don't run the club :D
Ok bimboThank God his English is better than yours.
