Regardless of his age, if he has the ability to create half a yard of space and get a shot away that already makes him more of a goal threat than any of the players that started against spurs (De Bruyne aside).

It would be up to Pep to accommodate him in the team but if we have that chance to sign Messi we should definitely go for it.

Also, signing arguably the greatest ever player when no fans are allowed in the stadium to see it would possibly be the ultimate typical City moment...

You say that like he’d be fickle if he didn’t join without CL football? Regardless of age, he should still be playing in the elite competitions.
