No idea on the PSG form this season but they topped their CL group and aren’t far off top of Ligue 1.

Is there any special relationship or any relationship at all between Messi and Pochettino ? Or is this being suggested because they are both from Argentina ? They were even at the opposite clubs in Barcelona. I would guess they are not exactly friend or close.

Edit: it seems Pochettino likes Messi and wanted to go back with him at Newell's Old Boys.

PSG aren't doing good right now. They scraped through that group. They weren't any good or superior in any game they won bar the ones against the Turkish side.

What is surprising is the timing. His contract was running out in the summer. I don't understand what triggered this decision. There is a lot rumours right now. Even one saying he had lost the players because he opposed their decision of not playing after the 4th referee incident in the last CL game. He apparently wanted his players to stay on the field and win by forfeit. Don't know if it is true but the fact the owners did this right now means something important happened. Emery wasn't fired while doing worse and first season Tuchel wasn't fired either.

Nah, Messi suits Man City perfectly. He would have great midfielders behind him on the pitch, so he would be finally focused only on finishing chances provided by his teammates. Instead of walking around the middle of the pitch, I hate that... I have dreamed of Messi joining City since 2016.
