Thank you for a reasoned response, and all the info you provide. Saw a site that suggests Messi has become more of a provider than goal scorer, perhaps more of a David Silva player. For sure if he joins us the ground will be full, shirt sales up and hopefully City profits up too, allowing us to fund players like Haaland. Whatever City do, I will still support them. The beauty of the forum is the capacity to hear both sides of an argument, and thats how it should be, whilst being pleasant to each other and respectful !!Heard some Bucks fans say the same last year about Brady.
I think Messi still wants it. Still wants to achieve, still wants to add to the legacy.
That can only amount to a winning combination. The guy is a winner.
If I am a player sat across from Messi in the dressing room before a Champions League final, I immediately feel confident there won't be another single player going on to that pitch who possesses more talent or more experience of delivering in the biggest of moments
It's actually quite scary what Messi can achieve with City. There is a perfect storm because other clubs won't be able to compete on or off the pitch for a couple of years.
Pep knows Messi better than anyone. He loves that kid. If he felt the player's reputation or impact would be lessened in England, he would tell him to stay put or choose an easier option.
If we are surviving what are the rest of the chancers doing. Since 2011/12 we have been better than most, in fact I would say we have been quite good. We're surviving not managing
Oh no, yet another week I’m reading that gibberish talking. For me it’s simply too late. I hope he stays at Barca.
He’s still a great player but not a stand out. He will do well in the PL but not outstanding. And I’m worried he will be injured a lot. Physical wise it’s simply a lot toucher for any player. Let alone one that is truly in his 30-ies.
This is an embarrassing take. For me it’s simply too late. I hope he stays at Barca.

There's a reason Barca have him a get out.Oh no, yet another week I’m reading that gibberish talking.
Just can’t wait until he proves y’all doubters wrong. After all he did after 10+ years it is shame that there are still people that speak rubbish about him. „Not a stand out” omg...
