Laporta is a politician. They promise the world to get where they are then never keep those promises. Everything he keeps saying with barca's financial problems is hilarious. Such as we can sign haaland if we sell. Okay good luck getting someone to pay griezmans 800k a week wages. Or getting more than 30 mil for coutinho it's just lies apon lies and barca fans are eating it up due to what he did before

Audax must of agreed initially, maybe, just maybe a certain player has told Barca he's off and Audax have pulled the plug.
You wouldn't fund a club who's biggest marketing tool has said he's off...or am I reading too much in to it.
You could be clutching at straws

Probably mate, just seems weird.......Jorge Messi flys to Barca yesterday(apparently) and this drops today.
Audax must of given Laporta the green light to begin with, then pull out a couple of days before he needs the money.

Is that true? Can't be, can it, for that short a stint when pledging a long term plan.

I don't know the ins and outs and will beleive what those that know more say, just seems a bit illogical, that situation must have been known by all.
It's entirely true.

He needs to raise a further 70m euros by tomorrow otherwise new elections will have to be called. You have to raise 15% of the budget within the first 10 days. It's in the law.

Whoever was going to take over was going to be in for a shit time. They have over 700m of short-term debt to be paid.... over 420m euros has to be paid by the end of the year. Then, you have to try and resign Messi. He'll demand a big signing-on fee. He'll most likely have to be the highest-paid at the club, which be over 800k a week.... and then, they still have to pay Messi his 33m euros loyalty fee by June.

I like the way your thinking.
You've got me wondering now

Thanks for that, good bit of clarificationon the 15% stake. I've now read similar now in a few papers, so it does seem he is in a rush to get the money to be formally made president.

Maybe thats what messi sr. has flown in for, lendn him a quick 70m from the old tax reserves. Who knows.

Would be incredible if they had to go through elections all over again, but theynwil certsinly find something somewhere and get it pulled in
