Out of the matches we recently lost against Leeds, Chelsea and United Pep went with a "weaker" team for Chelsea and Leeds.
If either Messi or Haaland were with us this season , the probability is that they would have been rested in the same way Foden was not played.
The mindset of Pep is rotation this season.

And the rotation has generally worked brilliantly. Playing the first eleven every week a la Liverpool would have been disastrous this of all seasons
