Let's get one thing straight - leo messi will continue to be the best player in the world as long as he plays. the gap is huge.
That's how i see iti smell a rat, in a barce shirt and holding a pistol aimed at La Liga.
"Bend the rules or we all go down" , Spain's version of a Mexican stand-off.
Not forgetting the money we've lost through the covid crisisThis was all before getting a certain Jack Grealish and aiming for Kane. And that was also last year, we've since renewed what like, 3 key player deals? Would be interested to see how the wage bill looks now and whether we can still accommodate Messi.
We'll only find out if we play a full side in a CC match.Yeah but…..can he do it on a wet Tuesday night in Stoke? That’s the key
Omar Berrada, City's COO.
I think Messi is an exceptional circumstance mate - agreed we wouldn't usually do that. But if the question gets asked about Lionel Messi - the response is different than it would be for any other player.Just read that article linked on Sky quoting him from October. Literally never heard of him.
How long has he held his position at the club and what kind of significance does he has? Seems off brand from what the club have been doing for years for someone senior to be talking about Messi like that to the press in relation to us.
That's quite an imagination you have.
He came over as part of Soriano's team - he used to work with Txiki and Soriano at Barcelona. He started out here running our commercial department and was considered to have done a good job. He was promoted a couple of years back to Chief Operating Officer. He's not really a public figure so there's no reason that you should have heard of him. He does a lot of business to business press interviews, things like that, rather than with the football press.Just read that article linked on Sky quoting him from October. That was that muppet on the El Chingureno programme or whatever it's called. It's a Madrid favoured comedy show. They say a lot of stuff
