FFP has effectively been suspended because of COVID. So these numbers will not impact them from a UEFA FFP perspective. La Liga has its own FFP type rules and they are not being given a pass on the forward looking wage bill v's income rule. It is a situation that could be resolved within the Spanish system but it it clearly isn't getting sorted.487m losses even over the new temporary four year ffp monitoring period unless they sell half there squad they will fail ffp
But FFP and Spanish league rules are slightly beside the point. They have been living beyond their means for years and covid has only brought forward the inevitable. As i said yesterday and have been saying for months they are fecked! This needed to happen.
