Tbf it’ll be near enough to make v little difference. €63m minus €158k of sliding scale taxation on your numbers. Not sure if like the uk you lose nil rate band etc too
Yeah I think there's a nil band up to 10k & yes I'm sure the numbers won't be far off but just didn't like the way the Daily mail took a short cut approach & suggested in their basic calculation that all of the amount will get taxed at 45% which is incorrect.
