In time he could make the same conversation as Ronaldo (although it would take an insane amount of hard work, determination and development). But he will never be close to Messi.Yeah the hype about Mbappe is weird I watch him and think Nahh he isn’t in the same conversation as a Messi Ronaldo or what some saying over there Pele! He comes across to me as a Arrogant child a character to detest a speed merchant and to be fair he does score goals but so do a lot of top strikers!
You've been conned if you think that.
Mbappé is lightyears behind Messi.
Literally, the only thing Mbappé is stronger than Messi at is pace (something that Adama Traoré also has over Messi).

Different players, i don't think anyone comes close to Messi. Could Mbappe realistically become as good as Ronaldo has been? I don't see why not, he already has the physical attributes and technical abilities that line up with where Ronaldo was at United. I don't think he's a pace merchant, he's clearly much better than that and even when Monaco beat us it was pretty evident the kid was special. But nobody comes close to Messi, he's just a different breed. They are desperately trying to find someone to push the product now that the big two are on the wane, they need a figurehead to push FIFA games and merch.
Damn, i just wrote the same thing and now it looks like i copied you :DIn time he could make the same conversation as Ronaldo (although it would take an insane amount of hard work, determination and development). But he will never be close to Messi.
Same goes for Haaland tbh. They are phenomenal but Messi is a phenom amongst phenoms.
It’s the little things that separates him from the rest . You can hone in and perfect all the technicals skills , tricks and flicks but messi’s presence of mind is extraordinary. Out of this world! In time he could make the same conversation as Ronaldo (although it would take an insane amount of hard work, determination and development). But he will never be close to Messi.

you never knowIt's a real shame that, for whatever reasons, the greatest player to ever kick a football could have spent a couple of years at Manchester City, and didn't.

It's easy to forget because it's gone so quickly, but people were already arguing about if Messi was the greatest player of all time when he was 21/22. His first ballon d'Or in 2009 was the biggest landslide in the award's history. Everyone knew he was the best player in the world and no one was close.
Mbappe is about to turn 24, and I don't think he's ever been close to that. I don't think he's closer now than he was 4 years ago in Russia.
Yeah just different spectrums. Mbappe and even someone like Haaland could be considered greats of the modern era when they're done, but we're talking about a guy (Messi) that is being considered among the greatest ever. It's easy to forget because it's gone so quickly, but people were already arguing about if Messi was the greatest player of all time when he was 21/22.
