He's only a few goals behind Ronaldo in CL and International play. With the Portuguese out of the picture, Messi can get those records if he keeps playing a couple more seasons. If he really is as competitive as people say he is, I don't think he has any plans of retiring any time soon. Specially since he's still one of the best players in the World, if not the best.
